ON THE JOB TRAINING IN COMPUTER

(EARNING WHILE LEARNING)

 

 


RATIONALE / BACKGROUND:

  As of today, many of the teachers and students of our school find it hard to use the computer to do computer task like encoding their paperwork, reports and printing documents to the following reasons; lack of time, lack of knowhow, and lack of computer resources. Observation shows that they seek outside r commercial computer services to do the job. Since the school have computers, we’ll provide training and developed curriculum that facilitates computer literacy, but still the demand is high. Francisco P. Felix Memorial National High School hold more than 9, 000 students and 234 teachers and staff who will in time need to do computer related task. At present our school, through the different training and regular computer classes held by Mr. Santiago and other Computer Teachers, has molded exceptional students who are equipped with the talent and the skills to take and accept the challenges in solving this existing problem. All we need to do is to build up and execute a special program that will provide the needed services with a minimal cost compared to outside computer services. So the club come up with the idea of “On the Job Training Program” combined with the idea of Dario Frias, “Earn While Learning” that will cater the existing needs for computer services and will improve the knowledge and skills of the selected students involved on the said project aside from this the project will generate funds for the operational expenses and compensation of the OJTC students.

 


OBJECTIVES:

    1.     Provide affordable and reliable computer services to Teachers, Students and Community.

     2.     Improve the knowledge and skills of the students, teacher and staff of the school on the use of computers.

     3.     Generate funds for the operational expenses and compensation of the OJTC students.



 

      MONITORING AND EVALUATION:

            Regular monitoring will be conducted to determine problems providing corrective measures in the implementation. Give this context; an evaluation will be conducted to determine if the program goals and objectives are achieved.

            Monitoring to report will be submitted to proper offices Annually, Quarterly, Monthly as the situation and diligence required.
